Minnesota State Junior Girls' Championship
All players in the Championship will play 36-holes, stroke play. The Champion will be the player with the lowest total gross score after 36 holes. A tie for first place will be played off immediately, hole-by-hole, until a champion is determined. A player with a handicap index of 9.4 or less or average 18 hole score of 82 or less, effective at time of entry, will be placed in the Championship Flight. A player with a 9.5 handicap or higher or an average 18 hole score of 83 or higher, effective at time of entry, will be placed in the First Flight.
In the event conditions will not permit the total completion of the second round, the Committee reserves the right to cut the field after the first round to the lowest 36 scoring players, plus ties, for play in the second round.
Players may use a caddie during the Championship. A player may not use a parent, step parent, or guardian as a caddie during the Championship.
Entries are open to female amateur golfers (the USGA Gender Policy applies), who are currently Associate Members of the MGA at the club from which they are playing, or a permanent resident of Minnesota and must NOT have reached their 19th birthday before the first day of the Championship.
